What a fabulous afternoon, on the grounds of the beautiful Wilton House Museum in Richmond, Virginia. The Art Deco Society of Virginia hosted their second Annual Gatsby Afternoon Picnic overlooking the James River, with picnickers dressed to the nines in beautiful vintage wear (even small children joined in the fun of dressing up!). Entertainment came in the form of performances by World Champion Ragtime and Jazz Pianist Ethan Uslan (joined by beautiful vocalist Laura Windley for a number), Broadway Troubadour Danny Willis, and the fun-loving Garter Snaps. Vendors were invited to hawk their wares, and I had the pleasure of doing the Paper Moon Photo Booth. Prizes were awarded to the best picnic display, and the winner of the fashion parade.
It was a truly wonderful event, and I can't wait for next year's. For more information, please see
