Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland NYC is ALWAYS a fun-filled event! Every Monday evening, for the past 16 years, Jim Caruso and his Cast Party "Orchestra" host entertainers as they perform for the enjoyment of all. Vocalists, ventriloquists, tap dancers, musicians, stand-up comedians, and everything in between ... you never know who you'll see. And so often, the Cast Party stage has been the launching pad of spectacular careers for many talented performers.
At this event, the Cast Party "Orchestra "comprised Billy Stritch on piano (and vocals), Steve Doyle on bass (and vocals too!) and Daniel Glass on drums. I was impressed with all the vocalists, but one in particular had us all on our feet at the end of her performance (and graciously performed an encore too) - Naiika (accessible through social media as "Naiika Sings"). Such talent!
