Despite the name, this event is fabulous musical concert, not dance! Tables are set up so attendees can bring their own food and refreshment, and picnic with their friends and families.
And the music is exceptional! Producers Don Greenfield and Al Kuehn have held this event annually for more than 40 years, and it's usually a sold-out event - this year was no different.
On the bandstand, we had Randy Sandke (trumpet), Randy Reinhardt (cornet/trombone), Adrian Cunningham (clarinet/sax/flute/vocals), John Allred (trombone), Nicki Parrott (bass/vocals), Conal Fowkes (piano), and Paul Wells (drums).
