The second annual Gotham Jazz Festival was held in the beautiful Player's Club on April 8, 2018. The partnership between Prohibition Productions and the New York Hot Jazz Camp ensured students from the camp could showcase their talent in various concerts during the first half of the festival - images from those performances can be found in
this album. The festival was a wonderful blend of different styles of jazz, swing and blues, and featured performances by: John Dimartino, Spike Wilner, Daryl Sherman, Jesse Gelber, Stephane Wrembel and Thor Jensen, Cynthia Sayer Trio with Mike Weatherly and Mike Sailors, The Hot Toddies with Oran Etkin, Hannah Gill and her After Hours Jazz Band, Jon-Erik Kellso's The EarRegulars, David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, King Solomon Hicks, Gordon Webster & Friends with vocalist Charles Turner, The Xylopholks, Adrien Chevalier's Gypsy Jazz Quartet, Mike Davis & The New Wonders, the New York Hot Jazz Camp Faculty All-Stars (Catherine Russell, Evan Christopher, Randy Reinhart, Dalton Ridenhour, Justin Poindexter, Jim Fryer, Nicki Parrott, Rob Garcia, Bria Skonberg and Molly Ryan), and a late night All-Star Jam held down by Bria Skonberg, Gordon Webster and Sen Cronin.
