What a fabulous event! A fantastic crowd, and some of the best jazz musicians around! The program started with Alan Dale and the New Legacy Jazz Band.
Next, Houston Person Quartet with Houston, Larry Fuller on piano, Matthew Parish on bass and Drummer Vince Ector.
Ben Polcer's septet comprised Ben Polcer on cornet, Dalton Ridenhour on piano, Dennis Lichtman on reeds, Jim Fryer on trombone, Brian Nalepka on tuba and Rob Garcia on drums. Ed Polcer, organizer and musician liaison of this event, joined his son's set. Such incredible foot-stomping energy!
Fifteen Strings are Jonathan Russell on violin (with bass effect pedal) and Vinny Raniolo on guitar and banjo. A crowd favorite!
Closing the event was Stan Rubin's Orchestra, led by Herb Gardner on piano, with Brian Nalepka on bass.
